I want to open an account. What documents are required?
For Turkish nationals;
I. T.R. Identity Card,
II. T.R. Driving License,
III. Certificate of Residence (for the last 1 month) or an Invoice/Bill which requires subscription (for the last 3 months)NOTE: “If the address in Article III is different that the address registered in Mernis (Central Registration) system, Certificate of Residence is required. If the Mernis records are same with the current address, no additional document is required.
For Foreign Nationals;
I. Certificate of Residence Permit with Photo / A valid Passport,
II. For Foreign Residents (Foreigner Identification Number "FIN") / Tax Identification Number "TIN")

Why am I unable to transfer money from my USD/EURO account to my Turkish Lira account?
Money transfers can be made between accounts of the same currency type.
What information is required to transfer money and what is the additional number detail?
If a transfer is going to be made in Turkey, the IBAN or account number, additional account number and the branch code is required for the account to which the transfer will be made. If a transfer is going to be made from abroad, our bank’s Swift code and the account IBAN will be required. The additional number is a number identified individually for each different currency unit, deposit or drawing account linked to the main account

What are my daily transaction limits?
In the event no extra limit is assigned, you can transfer up to 15,000 Turkish Liras daily, 75,000 Turkish Liras monthly, or the equivalent amounts in Dollars or Euros.
I need to make an urgent transfer and I would like to increase my EFT limits. How can I do this?
EFT limits can be updated at our branches. You can contact your branch to request a limit increase.
With the help of Cash Withdrawal with QR Code, you can easily withdraw cash from ATM without using your card.

It is an account type which can be opened as current account in which your savings are valorised as gold.

Internet and Mobile Branch Transactions
I want to use Internet banking, how can I use it and what is my username?
Our retail customers can call Emlak Katılım Çağrı Merkezi at 0850 222 26 26 and get their Online Banking and Mobile Branch passwords. The customer number and TR ID Number is the customer’s username. If our corporate customers are going to get their Internet banking password for the first time, they can do so from our branches. The username is set at the branch
How do I login to Online Banking for the first time?
You can login from the Online Banking menu at the top right corner on the www.emlakkatilim.com.tr website by selecting Retail or Corporate banking. Retail customers may use Online Banking by entering their customer number and password, while corporate customers can do so by additionally entering their username.
Can the ATM PIN, Online Banking and Mobile Branch passwords be identical, and how many characters should they consist of?
The ATM PIN must consist of four digits, and the Mobile and Online branch passwords must consist of eight digits. The Online and Mobile Branch passwords are the same.
You can change your password from the Change Password section under the Settings menu on the Internet Branch. If you do not remember your password, you can change your password by calling Emlak Katılım Çağrı Merkezi at 0850 222 26 26.
I want to change my primary telephone number for Online Banking transactions. How can I do this?
If you have two numbers recorded in your details, you will need to visit your branch to change your primary number. If you have an overseas plan, you can make this transaction before you leave.
How can I unblock my SIM?
You can unblock your SIM through our corporate website, by calling our Call Center or visiting our branches.
How are foreign exchange transactions and money transfers made?
You can make your foreign exchange buying and selling transactions from the Foreign Currency/Precious Metals menu on the Internet Branch/Mobile Branch. You can make your transfer and EFT transactions from the Money Transfer menu. However, you must know the recipient’s IBAN or account number.
Which transactions can I make with saved transactions?
You can easily make payments and money transfers using your saved transactions.
How are accounts opened?
You can open any type of new account from the Open an Account section under the My Accounts menu on the Internet Branch.
Why is filtering applied on My Accounts menu on the Internet Branch?
A filtering is applied to prevent the display of too many information about your accounts.
Can I make online money transfers in Dollars, Euros or Turkish Lira?
Yes, you can do make transfers through our Internet Branch. For Turkish Lira; you can make transactions in TL by clicking the Money Transfers section from the All Transactions menu and selecting Transfer to Account or to IBAN options. For Foreign Currency; you can make transactions in foreign currency by clicking the Money Transfers section from the All Transactions menu and selecting the Transfer to Account (Swift) or to IBAN (Swift) options. However, our Syrian customers can make money transfers only within Turkey and only in Turkish Lira.
How much money can I send to another account from the Internet Branch?
There is a standard limit for all accounts; however, if this limit is insufficient, you can visit your branch and request a limit increase.
How can I pay my bills?
You can pay your bills through our Internet Branch. You can pay your bills with our partner institutions from the Pay Bills section under Payments in the All Transactions menu.
Can I give an automatic payment order?
Yes, you can give an automatic payment order from our Internet Branch. You can create an automatic payment order from the New Request section under Payments in the All Transactions menu.
I want to transfer funds overseas. What should I do?
You can transfer funds overseas from the Foreign Currency Transfer section under the Money Transfers menu on the Internet Branch.
I am sending USD from the Mobile Branch but why the recipient cannot receive it?
You cannot make Swift transactions from the Mobile Branch, you can only make transfers between Emlak Katılım accounts.
Is there any fee for online banking transfers in foreign currency transactions such as USD or Euro?
A commission fee is applied for transfers in foreign currency transactions from Emlak Katılım to another bank account or to any other Emlak Bank account.
I have a joint account but why can’t I see my account activities using Online Banking?
You can access your joint account by logging in the Internet Branch from your personal banking account.
International (Abroad) Transactions
Can I withdraw money from my account while abroad?
Since Troy cards can be used only for domestic transactions, you cannot withdraw money from your account while you are abroad.
Can I receive money to my account from abroad?
Yes, you can. However, transactions of Syrian citizens are subject to the approval of the intermediary/negotiating bank.
Can I send money overseas from my account?
Yes, you can. However, since the transactions of Syrian citizens are subject to the approval of the intermediary/negotiating bank, they cannot transfer foreign currency overseas.
What details are required when making transfers to Turkey from abroad?
The Swift code (EMLATRIS) and IBAN are required.
What is the commission fee for EFT and Swift transactions?
EFT transactions are free of charge. The commission fee for Swift transactions differs based on the amount sent. The commission fee for foreign currency transfers made from the Internet Branch is minimum 15 USD and maximum 250 USD. The commission rate can reach to 1/1000 of the total amount.
I want to shop from an overseas online shopping site with the balance in my foreign currency account. But it is not working. Why?
You can make shopping from only domestic online shopping sites using Troy cards.
