Compulsory Traffic Insurance

Compulsory Traffic Insurance is an insurance guaranteeing the driver of a motor vehicle defined in the policy against the legal liability of the driver according to Highway Traffic Law No. 2918 arising from causing the death or injury of someone or the damage to an object while driving.

Guarantee limits and principles of practice of the traffic policy is determined by the Ministry of treasury and Finance and enter into force when published in official gazette.

Guarantees covered by the policy:

• Damages and losses caused by a policy holder to another vehicle while driving his/her car.
• Claims for damages due to material and physical damages and losses to persons as a result of traffic accidents are under guarantee.
